Wire Transfers

A wire transfer is one of the fastest modes of sending and receiving money. Bank of Washington offers customers with either personal and/or business checking accounts the ability to send and receive money wires. Below are instructions for both outgoing and incoming wires.

Outgoing Wires

Domestic Wire: $15

International Wire: $45

Cutoff times: The cutoff to send out domestic wires the same day is 3:00pm CT and the cutoff to send international wires the same day is 12:00pm CT.

Instructions

Bank of Washington personal and business customers may initiate a wire transfer by coming into any of our branches. Business customers have the opportunity to initiate wires online. Please contact us at 636-239-7831 or online@bankofwashington.com for more information on this service.

The following information will need to be provided:

A government-issued form of identification (driver’s license, passport)
Dollar amount to transfer
Your address
Your bank account number

You’ll also need to provide information about the recipient, including:

Full name
Address
Receiving bank name and address
Routing number (or SWIFT code for international wire transfers)
