Bank of Washington Honored as Best Bank
June 2015
Washington, MO – St. Louis Small Business Monthly, an editorial source of strategy, management and innovation for St. Louis-area entrepreneurs and business owners, recently listed the Bank of Washington as one of “The Best Banks” in the St. Louis Region.
The award was published in the May 2015 edition of Small Business Monthly. “We are honored that we were chosen as a best bank. Our hope is that the award is a reflection of our dedication to our small business customers,” said Louis B. “Buzz” Eckelkamp, III, President of the Bank of Washington. “We strive to really listen to our customers, build partnerships and match their needs to specific solutions. As a community bank, we take pride in our business and believe in serving our customers just as well as the small business owner takes pride in serving their own.”
Small Business Monthly polled their readers and received more than 200 nominations. The Bank of Washington recently released their Small Business Banking App, providing small business owners with the opportunity to manage their finances on the go. “We also have a dedicated staff that provides SBA loans to Small Businesses,” said Eckelkamp. “This opens up lending opportunities for entrepreneurs, start-ups, growing businesses and more. The Bank of Washington has been a leading SBA lender for the past three years. With our lending products on top of free business checking and cash management products such as merchant credit card machines and remote deposit capture, we work hard to provide everything a small business owner needs.”
The Bank of Washington is the oldest and largest community bank in Franklin County, serving the community for over 135 years, and offering banking seven days a week at their branch located inside Schnucks in Washington. In addition to six convenient branch facilities located throughout Washington, Gray Summit and Villa Ridge, the Bank of Washington also provides online banking, mobile banking and 14 ATMs throughout Washington, Marthasville, New Haven, Villa Ridge and Gray Summit.
