Washington, MO – Bank of Washington Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer L. B. Eckelkamp, Jr. recently announced the promotion of Lori Aholt to Vice President Retail Operations.
“Lori has done an excellent job in aligning her department with the ever-changing demands of new products and technology,” stated Bank of Washington President Louis B. “Buzz” Eckelkamp, III. “With her leadership, we continually have the support we need for ensuring the delivery of superior customer products and services. We are proud of what she has accomplished and know she will continue to do a wonderful job.”
Aholt has worked for the Bank of Washington for over 26 years, starting in the maintenance department and moving into bookkeeping, where she was the Retail Operations Officer, and most recently Assistant Vice President Retail Operations.
“Our department focus continues to be to ensure customers receive the best possible service. Whether it be over the phone, in the branch or with their electronic devices, we help customers access their accounts conveniently and securely. We also work hard internally to streamline the processes that involve front line and back office employees,” Aholt said.
Aholt is a graduate of St. Francis Borgia High School and has completed many professional banking seminars throughout her years of experience. She is a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2661 Ladies Auxiliary and Immaculate Conception Parish in Augusta, where she serves on the Parish Council, Trivia Committee, Festival Committee and is the Parish Breakfast Committee Chair. “When I switched jobs twenty-six years ago, I knew I was switching to a company that was focused on family and community. Twenty-six years later, I am still happy that I made that decision. The leadership at the Bank of Washington truly believes family always comes first, and their encouragement for employees to become involved in everything that has to do with our community, regardless of the time of day, is extraordinary,” said Aholt. “I feel fortunate to be a part of this organization.”
